Fort Kent—Laura Aurore (Michaud) Pelletier, 97, passed away on January 5, 2021 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born on May 12, 1923 in Fort Kent, daughter of the late Thomas and Marie (Fongemie) Michaud. She was the wife of the late Alberie Pelletier, they were married for 68 years. She is survived by her two sons, Carroll Pelletier (the late Ann) of Frenchville , David Pelletier and his wife Beverly of Fort Kent; five grandchildren, Michael of New Hampshire, Jeff (Sherrie) of Frenchville, Steven (Nikki) of Woodland, Jason (Jess) of Fort Kent, Stacy and her boyfriend Paul of Caswell; nine great grandchildren, Nathane, Makyle, Kylie, Ryan, Lydia, Hailee, Abigail, Pierce and Parker; she is also survived by three sisters, Emelda Dubois of Fort Kent, Verna Lozier of Fort Kent, Edwina Nadeau of Florida. She was the 9 ^th out of 13 kids in the family. She is also survived by two sisters in law, Lorraine Tremblay and her husband Robert of Lewiston, Anita Ouellette of Connecticut. She has many nieces and nephews. She was a dedicated member of the Ladies of St. Anne. We would like to thank High View Manor and Rehab, especially the staff on the 3 ^rd floor that took care of her. Special thanks to Paul Saucier and Angela Beaulieu who took care of her while she was still at home. Due to the current pandemic a Funeral Service will be held privately by the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
