Obituary

St. Francis– Laurine (Morin) Jandreau, 92, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in St. Francis on June 8, 1929, daughter of the late Guy and Mary (Deschaine) Morin.

Laurine was happily married to Clovis Jandreau for 73 years, until his passing on June 15, 2012. Over the years Laurine enjoyed working in her vegetable garden volunteering her time cooking for the Harvest super, cooking for the hunters staying in the camps, or to whomever needed an extra hand. She was also an avid quilter and donated many of her quilts for the Harvest supper raffles. Laurine was a devoted Catholic who participated in many services as a reader.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Follansbee and her husband Robert of Scarborough, Pam Dubois and her husband Herman of Saco, Wendy Beaulieu and her husband Mike of St. John; 4 grandchildren, Renee Harvey, Julia Schafer, Jake Harvey, and Fred Follansbee; along with several great-grandchildren. Laurine is predeceased by her parents, Guy and Mary (Deschaine) Morin; her husband, Clovis Jandreau; 10 siblings, Annette Harmon, Claudette Jandreau, Valeric Morin, Myrtle Jackson, Geneva Pelletier, Felix Morin, Edric Morin, John Morin, Bertha Michaud, and Rita Gardner. A Mass of Chrisitan burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 2, 2022, 10am at St. Francis Church. Arrangements have been entrusted by Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
