MADAWASKA - Lawrence Myers, 91, passed away April 2, 2010 at his residence in Madawaska. He was born in St. Quentin, N.B., Canada, on November 27, 1918, the son of the of the late Percy and Anna (Theriault) Myers. Lawrence was predeceased by his loving wife, Laurendy "Candy" Myers in February of 2005. He is survived by seven sons, Ronald and his wife, Linda, of Berlin, CT., Jack and his wife, Angelique, of St. Jacques, N.B., Canada, John and his wife, Mado, of Hilton Head, S.C., David and his wife, Katie, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Jim and his wife, Renee of Jefferson, MD, Lawrence Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Frederick, MD., Ricky and his companion, Keith, of Tucson, AZ; two daughters, Lorraine and her husband, James, of Tucson, AZ., Joan and her husband, Louis, of Edmundston, N.B.; one sister, Kate Violette of Madawaska; one brother, Lewis Myers of Windsor, CT; 18 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Thursday, April 8 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. There will be no viewing hours. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery in July.
