Madawaska—Lawrence "Larry" Reginald Sacre passed away on August 29, 2016, at the age of 77. He was the son of Lawrence and Mildred (Chappell) Sacre. Larry is survived by his brother Robert Sacre of Darthmouth, Nova Scotia, sister Marilyn Kulick of Los Gatos, California, and nine nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Dorothy M. (Sacre) Swinnard. Larry served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for some time. He was a science teacher and taught in New Brunswick, British Columbia, and California.

The family wished to express its heartfelt thanks to Larry's doctors and the staff at Forest Hill Manor. Per Larry's wishes, there will be no funeral service. He will be buried in the United Church Cemetery in Edmundston, New Brunswick on September 7, 2016 at 2 PM (Eastern Standard Time).
