Obituary
Limestone--- Leila Terwilliger, 63, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born November 11, 1955 in Limestone, a daughter of Esther (Thompson) Blackwell and the late Henry Blackwell Jr.
Leila worked many years for various restaurants but was a devoted volunteer for the Knights of Columbus and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She especially enjoyed working potato harvest in the fall. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, and you couldn't visit without leaving with a full stomach. She truly enjoyed making others happy, and her smile and laughter would brighten everyone's evening at Bingo nights. Leila enjoyed visiting her daughters in New Hampshire and going to the beach.
She is survived by: two daughters, Amy Corbin and her husband Robert of Rochester, NH, and Laura Noseworthy and her husband Keith of Milton, NH; her mother of Limestone; five siblings, Roger and Dwayne Blackwell of Limestone, Debbie Appleton of Florida, Julie Bloom and her husband Ron of Michigan, and Diane Larkin and her husband Harold of Mississippi; two grandchildren, Haleigh and Keigan; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Leila's wishes, services were held privately and at the convenience of the family. Donations in Leila's name may be made to: Limestone Ecumenical Community Food Pantry, St. Louis Church, 100 Main St., Limestone, ME 04750.
