Madawaska---Lena Hebert, 87, passed away on September 27, 2014 at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born in St. Agatha on September 11, 1927, daughter of the late Alcime and Leda Dumond. She is survived by her husband of sixty eight years, Nivard Hebert of Madawaska; two daughters, Murielle Sferrazza of Madawaska, Gloria Hebert of Brewer; four sons, Philip Hebert, Bert Hebert and his wife Suzanne, Robert Hebert and his wife Cindy all of Madawaska, and Danny Hebert and his wife Dodi of Delaware; fourteen grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Berube; six brothers, Pit, Gilman, Roland, Zun, Emilio, Reno; several nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by a grandson, Kyle Hebert; and by three siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the St. Thomas Church. As per Lena's request, there will be no visiting hours. Interment will be held at a later date at the Caribou Veteran's Cemetery.
