Frenchville---Leo James Levesque, 66, passed away on August 22, 2022, at his home in Frenchville with his family by his side.  He was born in Grand Isle on September 28, 1955, son of the late Gideon and Ida (Deschaine) Levesque.  He worked at Fraser Paper for 47.9 years until his retirement in 2021.  Jim and Diane enjoyed riding ATV and gardening together.  Jim especially enjoyed anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and camping.  Jim is survived by his wife Diane (McInnis) Levesque of Frenchville; two children, Casie Thibeault and her husband Carl of Madawaska, Morgan Officer and her husband Kevin of Florida; three grandchildren, Kirsten, Audrey, and Hailey; two step grandchildren, Kyle and Deserae; two stepchildren, Mark and Laurie; twelve siblings, Mike, Dennis "Dan", Carol, Diane, Vern, Lena, Theresa, Don, Nennette, Muriel, Roland, Herman; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by five siblings, Armand, Marius, Roger, Jacqueline, and Jeannine.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until 9:45am before the service on Friday.
