St. Francis---Leodore Ouellette, 96, passed away on September 11, 2024, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  He was born in St. Francis on April 6, 1928, son of the late Albert and Omeril (Jandreau) Ouellette.  He is survived by one daughter, Belinda Michaud of St. John; two sons, Barry Ouellette and his wife Paula of Fort Kent, Lee Ouellette and his wife Ann of Fort Kent; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Laurette (Lamarre) Ouellette; his second wife, Mary (Small) Ouellette; one sister, Valerie Pelletier; one brother, Lewellyn Ouellette.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the St. Charles Church in St. Francis.  Interment will be held immediately following the Mass at the St. Francis Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
