Wallagrass—Leone C. Ouellette, born November 1, 1927, the daughter of Raymond and Georgianna (Daigle) Campbell, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 10, 2022.  She was married to her husband Lucien H. Ouellette for 58 years before his passing.  Leone is survived by her children; Michael and Bonita Ouellette, Linda Roy, Carolene Caron, Tim and Peggy Ouellette, and Darlene and Danny Boucher, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, siblings; Camille, Emile, Herman, Verna Dewitt, Yvonne Nadeau and Viola Ayotte, her son Daniel Ouellette, grandsons Jamie Boucher and Randy Ouellette, and son-in-law Gary Roy.

Leone was well known as an avid reader and loved to knit, having donated thousands of hours knitting mittens for donation through Aroostook Agency on Aging.  She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022, at the St. Joseph Church in Soldier Pond.  Interment will be held immediately following the Mass at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Wallagrass.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
