Madawaska - Leonel C. Rouleau, 82, entered his Fifth Day, April 5, 2015 at a Madawaska residential care facility. He was born May 6, 1932, in Madawaska, the son of Edmund and Zelia (Ouellette) Rouleau. A loving husband and father, he gave of himself to many. He was especially devoted to his grandchildren. He was an active volunteer within his parish, as well as a member of the American Legion and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed snowmobiling, RVing, hunting and spending time at his camp on Long Lake. He is predeceased by his wife, Rachel (Plourde) Rouleau. Leonel is survived by his daughter, Theresa Beaulieu and her husband, Dan of Bedford, NH; two grandchildren, Ashley Umanzor and her husband, Rene, of Sturbridge, MA, and Justine Martin and her husband, Dustin, of Watertown, MA; three great-grandchildren, Rachael, Melody & Lianna Rose; one sister, Gloria Rouleau of Madawaska; one brother, Roger Rouleau of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a sister, Louella Marquis. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated 10a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until 9:45am on Saturday before the service. Interment will be held in the spring in the parish cemetery.
