Winterville--- Lila (Michaud) Fournier, 94, passed way on January 5, 2022 at NMMC in Fort Kent, ME. Lila was born on August 23, 1927, the daughter of the late Albert and Edna (Saucier) Michaud. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Roland Fournier. Lila was very loyal to family, friends, and her faith. She enjoyed the simple pleasures from nature and life. Lila loved to bake, sew, knit, crochet and quilt, just to name a few. Many of those treasures were made for loved ones, to be enjoyed for years to come. Lila also taught her children many of her creative talents, for which they are very thankful. While Lila's family mourns her loss, they are grateful for the gift of her life, which brought her family joy, love and special memories. Lila is survived by her children six children, Janice (Mike) Hayes of Horse Shoe, NC, Della (Paul) Leger of Andover, CT, Nolan Fournier of Winterville, ME, Clayton (Louise) Fournier of Eagle Lake, ME, Lomen (Pat) Fournier of Winterville, ME, Kevin (Marleny) Fournier of Port Richie, FL; her siblings, Leonel (Jackie) Michaud, Legourie Michaud, Florence Simard, Claude (Theresa) Michaud, Louis (Leona) Michaud, Ronald Michaud, Paul (Muriel) Michaud, Orese (Paul) Dube; Lila is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, siblings and friends. Besides her parents, Lila was predeceased by her siblings, Leonard Michaud and Herman Michaud; her daughter in-law, Theresa (Roy) Fournier. Special thanks go to those who helped Lila at home, which was her main desire to be. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, St. Mary's Church in Eagle Lake, 10am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aroostook Area Agency on Aging, 260 Main St., Presque Isle, ME 04769; and/or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
