Soldier Pond---Linda M. Ouellette, 76, passed away on November 24, 2023, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Eagle Lake on June 6, 1947, daughter of the late Alphonse, sr. and Irene (Vaillancourt) Lamarre.  She worked as a CNA for many years at various health care facilities.  She loved knitting, cooking, and crossword puzzles.  She always liked to tease back and forth with her son, Carl.  She enjoyed spending time with family, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.  Linda is survived by one son, Carl Ouellette and his wife Gaetane of Soldier Pond; two grandchildren, Stephanie Kirk and her husband Marcus, Randy Ouellette all of Soldier Pond; three great grandchildren, Jaylynn, Corbin, Liim; one sister, Cynthia King of Mapleton; her dear friends, Aurele Theriault and Nikki Shields; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Reynold Ouellette; three siblings, Leo Paul Lamarre, Alphonse Lamarre, Jr., and Sylvia Smart.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the St. Joseph Church in Soldier Pond.  Relatives and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home on Thursday from 6pm-8pm and on Friday from 8:30am until 9:30am.  Interment will be held in the spring at the Parish cemetery.
