IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda (Dubois)
Pelletier
January 28, 1948 – November 24, 2023
Fort Kent--- Linda (Dubois) Pelletier, 75, passed away on November 24, 2023 with her family by her side, at NMMC, following a sudden illness. She was born on January 28, 1948 in Fort Kent, Maine, the daughter of the late Norman and Jeannette (Raymond) Dubois.
Linda was best known for her dedication to her family and her husband's carpentry business. Her seamless ability to balance both her home and work life was admirable. Her love of cooking old family recipes, as well as new found recipes, was an added joy that she shared with family and friends. She was an incredible cook and was always available to share her recipes with a quick phone call (but they never tasted quite like hers). She was her grandchildren's biggest cheerleader, attending many of their soccer, baseball and basketball games, taking score at each game. Her faith in God was her foundation. She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church as well as the Columbiettes. She was kind, patient and well known for her generous spirit.
Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wilfred (Bea) Pelletier, Jr. of Fort Kent, ME, her four children, Carol Pelletier of Little Deer Isle, John and his wife Heather (Labbe) Pelletier of Fort Kent, Jason and his wife Lissa (Renault) Pelletier of Hermon, and Cathy and her husband Beau Daigle of New Canada. She also leaves behind the great loves of her life, her five grandchildren, Clark and Kara Pelletier, Caleb Pelletier, Wyatt and Easton Daigle. Linda is also survived by nine siblings, Norman, James and Dana Dubois of Millinocket, Ronald Dubois of Skowhegan, Donald Dubois of Frenchville, Arlene (Frank) Daigle, Norma (Andre) Landry of Fort Kent, Pauline (James) Charette of Millinocket and Rena (Alain) Cloutier of Caron Brook, NB and predeceased by Clarence Dubois in 1974.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at St. Louis Church, Fort Kent. Relatives and friends may greet the family Wednesday morning 8:30–9:30 AM at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery.
