Fort Kent—Lionel Saindon, 83, passed on April 10, 2021 at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born on October 6, 1937, son of the late Leonce and Cammilla (Thibodeau) Saindon. He would spend his days fishing on Eagle Lake catching all the big ones. Lionel was a member of the Fort Kent Knights of Columbus; he was a 4 ^th degree. Lionel is survived by six sons, Lonnie Charette of St. John, Michael Charette and his companion Michelle of New Canada, Steven Charette of Connecticut, Peter Charette of Fort Kent, Donald Saindon and his wife Carrie of St. Francis, Lionel Jr. and his wife Colleen of Connecticut; two brothers, Edmund of Baker Brook, and Edgar of Claire, NB; one sister, Clauda of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Crystal, Desiree, David, and Stephanie; along with many nieces and nephews. Lionel is predeceased by his parents Leonce and Cammilla (Thibodeau) Saindon; his wife Theresa (Ouellette) Saindon who passed in 2013; three brothers, Aldeo, Hermel, Aurelle; one sister, Isabelle; one grandson, Aaron. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
