Fort Kent/Presque Isle—Lisa (Sylvain) Shaw, 56, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2021, after a long illness at a Fort Kent health care facility. Lisa was born on October 6, 1964, daughter of the late Norman Sylvain and Gilma (Voisine) Sylvain. Lisa's greatest joy in life was her family. She enjoyed a competitive game of cards, like SkipBo, Michigan Rummy, and her own version of 'Phase 15'. Lisa felt most at peace when she was spending time with her husband Troy at Old Orchard Beach. Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 22 "looong" years, Troy Shaw. Two kitties that brought her so much joy, Ziggy and Bailey; Three sisters, Norma Cyr of Fort Kent, Patricia Gregoire and her husband Jeff of Augusta, Diana Sylvain of Fort Kent; Four brothers, Denis Sylvain and his wife Barbara of Fort Kent, Phil Sylvain of Fort Kent, Roger Sylvain and his wife Annette of North Carolina, Michael Sylvain and his wife Michelle of Fort Kent; her mother in-law, Donna Shaw: father in-law Willard Shaw: brother in-Laws, Woody "Woodrow" Shaw and Chris Perkins; sister in-law, Paula Perkins. Along with many nieces and nephews, and great nephews. Lisa is predeceased by her father Norman Sylvain; one sister, Mary Helen Cyr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Louis Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
