Madawaska and Caribou--- Lise B. Roy, 61, passed unexpectedly November 16, 2025, at a Presque Isle hospital, following a short illness. She was born May 20, 1964, in Connecticut, a daughter of Antoine and Claudette (Collin) Picard.

Lise was raised in St. Agatha and was a 1982 graduate of Wisdom High School. She last worked in the kitchen at the Caribou Nursing Home and Highview Manor, Madawaska. Previously, Lise worked at former Evergreen Perfume Factory for many years. She was an avid card player and loved playing cribbage late into the evenings with her friends and family.

She is survived by two daughters, SPC Tyra Agbemoryeboah, US Army, and her husband James, of Hawaii, and Beth Dube and her husband Kevin and her daughter Mia of Madawaska; her parents of St. Basile, Canada; four siblings, Gerald Picard and his wife Pam of Saco, Dorine Deschaine of Madawaska, Joyce Picard of Biddeford, and Glen Picard and his wife Amanda of Poland; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by one brother, Donald Picard.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 3 – 5:00 p.m. at Lajoie Funeral Home, 114 – 10th Ave., Madawaska. A Catholic memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
