Obituary

Madawaska--- Lorraine Bellefleur, 90, passed away on August 29, 2020 at her daughter's home in Madawaska with her family by her side.  She was born in St. Jacques, New Brunswick on September 15, 1929, daughter of the late Regis and Ida (Jalbert) Michaud.  Lorraine was born again by the Grace of God on March 3, 1985.  Lorraine was a very tender-hearted and compassionate woman and enjoyed spending time with her family, her most precious possession.  She loved life and had a heart full of love.  She loved working in her flower garden, and her many cats were her passion.  She is survived by two sons, Robert Bellefleur and his wife Nicole of Madawaska, Donald Bellefleur and his wife Gail of Princeton, MA; one daughter, Deborah Daigle and her husband Daniel of Madawaska; four grandchildren, Kristy Donahue and her husband Tom of Bangor, Andrea Ouellette and her husband Joey of Fort Kent, Aimee Holabird and her husband Brad of Fort Kent, Rebekah Kelln and her husband Christopher of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada; six great-grandchildren, Carter Donahue of Bangor, Avery and Gabe Ouellette of Fort Kent, Liam and Evelyn Holabird of Fort Kent, and Isaac Kelln of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories; two siblings, Corinne Sweeney and her husband Ken of Santa Barbara, California, Yvon Michaud and his wife Emma of Toronto; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, George Bellefleur; her grand-daughter, Connie Bellefleur; and her brother, Doris Michaud.  A graveside Service will be held 10am on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Madawaska. Please abide by social distancing guidelines.
