Madawaska---Lorraine Talbot, 80, died June 14, 2021.  She was born in St. David on February 7, 1941, daughter of the late Josephel and Aldea (Lavertu) Cote.  Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Josephel and Aldea Lavertu Côté; her two daughters Patricia Ann and Marie; her brothers and sisters Reginald Côté, Normande Morin, Bernadette Thibeault, Lionel Côté, Bella Iwanicki and Diane Côté.  She is survived by her beloved daughters and their families, Barbara Stadler and granddaughter Diana and Timothy Masselle; great-granddaughter Riley Rose; Kathryn and Michael Smedburg and grandson Ryan Guerena and granddaughter Sadie Guerena and partner Luis Sanchez; Michelle and Marc Cyr and grandchildren Emma and Ethan; Her siblings Juliette and Alex Kucia, Gilman and Nicole Côté and Omerine and Harold Côté; many nieces and nephews that Lorraine loved dearly.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Monday, June 21, 2021 at the St. Thomas Church.  Family and friends may offer their condolences at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska on Sunday from 6pm-8pm.  There will be no visiting hours Monday morning before the Mass.  Interment will take place at the St. Gerard Cemetery in Grand Isle immediately following the Mass.
