Fort Kent—Lou May M. Bouley, 70, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 27, 2022, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born on May 8, 1952, daughter of the late Leo Sr. and Mary Jane (Roy) Bouley.

Lou May loved to pass the time doing her word searches, reading her romance novels, and puzzles.

Lou May is survived by three brothers, Gilman Bouley and his wife Martha of Fort Kent, Ronald Bouley Sr. and his wife Lita of Cross Lake, Roger Bouley and his wife Beth of Augusta; one sister, Joyce Daigle and her husband Wilmer Sr. of Caribou; along with many nieces and nephews.

Lou May is predeceased by three brothers, Joseph Bouley, Leo Bouley Jr., Aurele Bouley Sr.; along with one stillborn brother, named Leroy Bouley; one infant sister, Jacqueline Bouley.

The family will be following Lou May's wishes and only having a graveside service in the spring. She will be greatly missed by her family. A special thank you to Dr. Djuanda and nurse Troy at Cary Medical Center, along with the rest of the staff for taking great care of her.
