St. David---Louis Daigle, 85, passed away on August 22, 2017 at a Fort Kent health care facility.  He was born in St. David on December 30, 1931, son of the late Fred and Annie (Hebert) Daigle.  After graduating from Madawaska High School, Louis moved to Connecticut where he worked for Pratt and Whitney for many years until his retirement.  He is survived by two brothers, Gerard Daigle of Frenchville, Armand Daigle and his wife Valeda of Madawaska; one sister, Florence Daigle of Presque-Isle.  Louis was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and Emile.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the St. David Cemetery.  For those who wish to offer their condolences may do so at St. David Church from 9am until 9:45am before the service on Monday.   Interment will be held immediately following the service in the Parish cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home, Madawaska.
