Madawaska --- Louis T. Dufour, 97, passed away on April 2,
2018
at a Madawaska health care facility, with his family by his side. He was born in Fort Kent, on January 27, 1921, a son of the late Thomas and Leona (Chasse) Dufour. Louis was a loving father and graciously supported his family. He was a proud WWII veteran and dedicated legionnaire who belonged to the Madawaska Post 147. He worked for Fraser Paper Company for 42 years and will always be remembered for being a talented musician. Louis is survived by his five children, Cecile Tardif of St. David, Pauline Harquail and her husband Richard of Edmundston, NB, Charlotte Hebert of Edmundston, NB, Charles Dufour and is wife Morgan of Belfast, and Jean-Paul Dufour of Toronto, ON; seven grandchildren, Mark, Cindy, Karen, Nikkol, Sebastian, Ilsa, and Evelyn; one great-grandson, Vincent; one brother, Roland Dufour and his wife Theresa of Manchester, NH; one sister, Lucille Bouchard of Waterville, and many nieces and nephews. Louis is predeceased by his wife Gilberte (Doucette) Dufour; three siblings, Dorilda, Irene, and Adrian; and one granddaughter, Denyse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at

on Monday, April 9,
