Louise T. Long of Farmington, CT passed away on October 2, 2021, age 62, leaving behind so many friends and family members who loved her dearly. She was loved and cherished by her longtime boyfriend, Pedro (Pete) Gonzalez of Bristol, CT. Louise was born in Fort Kent, Maine on May 3, 1959, to the late Leonard and Patricia (Landry) Boucher.

The Gregarious Louise – who made friends so easily in school as a child, at her work, in the bingo hall, and at the nursing facilities where she resided. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor; making everyone around her laugh with her jokes and wit. She was not shy and rarely held anything back. She loved being outside and followed the sun wherever it was. Louise was the epitome of resilience and bravery, overcoming many adversities later in life.

Together with her former husband, Larry Long, they raised their three daughters, Odette (Farrah) Lee and her husband Michael of Presque Isle, Jennifer Long Thibodeau and her husband Steven of Saint Francis, and Laurie Cianci and her wife Mary-Grace of West Hartford, CT. Louise was the proudest grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren. Her light shined every time she saw or spoke of Libby, Sadie, Wesley, Brandon, Elijah, and Samuel; and one great grandson, Bryce. She was also loved by many special nieces and nephews.

Louise is also survived by her siblings, Lise Boucher and her partner James, Rejean Boucher, Jacinthe Shaw, Norma Theriault, Odette Bosse, Bert Boucher and his wife Vickie, and Tammy Albert and her husband David. Louise was predeceased by brother-in-laws Rickie Shaw and Alfred Bosse; and a sister-in-law Lena (Dean) Morin. Louise had many special and dear friendships including ones with Barry, Monique, Bonnie, and Linda.

Visiting hours in Connecticut to celebrate Louise's life will be on Saturday, October 9 ^th from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Brooklawn Funeral Home, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on October 12 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent, Maine. Friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home immediately preceding the Mass from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m.
