Frenchville---Louise R. Soucy, 50, passed away peacefully at her home in Frenchville surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, November 17, 2014. She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on June 6, 1964, daughter of Richard and Bernice (Martin) Martin. Louise was a fun loving, vibrant woman who loved to live life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending quality time with the love of her life; her soul mate, Dean. Being an avid lover of animals, she loved spending time with her pets. Louise loved making everyone's day brighter by using her wit and sense of humor. Those whose lives she touched were lucky and blessed to have her in their lives. She is survived by her beloved husband Dean Soucy of Frenchville; her mother, Bernice Martin of St. David; 3 step-children, Reno Soucy of Madawaska, Allison and Neal Soucy of Van Buren; four sisters, Norma Morin and her husband Maurice of St. David, Patsy Martin of Madawaska, Judy Powers and her husband Rick of Virginia, Carol Rolnik of Gray; two brothers, Richard Martin, jr. and his wife Jean of Madawaska, Wayne Martin and his fiancé Erica of Bangor; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Richard G. Martin; two infant siblings, Viola and Stephen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until time of service on Friday. Interment will be held later in the spring.
