Madawaska---Lucien J. Clavette, 87, passed away on October 14, 2016 at a Madawaska health care facility.  He was born in Madawaska on September 1, 1929, son of the late Dennis and Julie (Lavertu) Clavette.  Lucien loved hunting and fishing.  He was a "Jack of all trades" …. there was nothing he couldn't do.  He is survived by one daughter, Lucienne Webb of Madawaska; two sons, Ronald and Janet (Ouellette) Clavette of Texas, Conrad Clavette of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Tom Clavette of Frenchville; two sisters, Loretta Rossignol of Georgia, Marie Ouellette of Florida; many nieces and nephews. Lucien was predeceased by his wife Fernande (Girard) Clavette; one son, James Clavette; and fifteen siblings.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am-9:45am on Friday before the service.
