Portage and Fort Kent----Lucien J. Ouellette, 93, passed away October 14, 2022, at a Madawaska health care facility.  He was born in St. Agatha on January 14, 1929, son of the late Joseph and Annie (Gagnon) Ouellette.  He is survived by his loving wife, Clara (Dubois) Ouellette; four children, Rena Mae Belanger and her husband Donald of Portage, Patrick Ouellette and his wife Janet of Plainville, CT, Bernadette Mayes and her husband Arlius of Colorado Springs, Mark Ouellette and his wife Barbara of Alaska; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; five siblings, Normande Collin of CT, Cecile Morin of St. Agatha, J. Paul Ouellette and his wife Cleo of Frenchville, Claudette Sirois and her husband James of CT, Brother of Sacred Heart Roland Ouellette of RI; many nieces and nephews.  Lucien was predeceased by eleven siblings, Norman Ouellette, Maurice Ouellette, Arthur Ouellette, Claude Ouellette, Lucille Chasse, Evelyn Michaud, Rachel Ouellette, O'Neil Ouellette, Yvette Plourde, Yvette Beaulieu, and Bernadette Bell.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, October 25 at the St. Louis Church.  Family and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 9am until 9:45am before the Mass on Tuesday.  Interment will be held in the Parish cemetery immediately following the Mass.
