Grand Isle--- Lucille Dionne, 88, peacefully entered into rest Sunday, October 22, 2023, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Van Buren on April 4, 1935, daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Dufour) Cyr.  She was communicant of St. Gerard Church, and an active member of the Ladies of St. Anne.  Lucille enjoyed spending time in her rocking chair on her enclosed porch.  She loved spending time with family and friends, but especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.  She would often cook large meals for the family.  She is survived by; five children, Louise Dionne of Otter Creek, Ron Dionne and his wife Jen of Grand Isle, Denise Emple and her husband Rob of Falmouth, Jim Dionne of St. David, and Michelle Ouellette and her husband Chad of Saco; seven grandchildren, Emma, Alec, Andrew, Sophie, Charlie, Curtis, and Brycen; one great granddaughter, Hadley; three siblings, Jeanne Cormier of Connecticut, Joel Cyr of Florida, Noel Cyr and his wife Annette of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel "Pit" Dionne; her daughter, Donna Dionne Hubbard; ten siblings.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Grand Isle. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Friday evening from 6PM – 8PM at Lajoie Funeral Home, Madawaska.
