IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lynne (Baker)
Bennett
June 27, 1975 – January 25, 2022
Fort Kent--- Lynne Diane (Baker) Bennett, 46, left this world too soon on January 25th, 2022. Lynne was born on June 27,1975 in Kennebunk, Maine. She was the only daughter of Leroy Baker and Diane (Fontaine) Baker.
Lynne attended schools in Jackman, Maine, graduating in 1993 from Forest Hills Consolidated High School, furthering her education at University of Maine at Augusta with a concentration in business. Early on, Lynne developed an interest in the lumber industry. When she moved to Fort Kent she assisted several of the lumber contractors with their financial operations.
Lynne derived strength from her family…specifically her sons, Alex Beaulieu and Carter Beaulieu and later her stepsons, Cole Bennett and Collin Bennett. She loved cooking their special treats, cheering at their athletic events, and supporting them throughout their school endeavors. Her pride for all of their accomplishments was evidenced by the smile she brought to each and every event. Lynne became a role model for her sons when she decided to return to college in 2013. In 2016, Lynne graduated with high honors from the University of Maine at Fort Kent with degrees in Forestry and Business Management. This accomplishment led to Lynne working for Irving Woodlands, LLC as their company fleet supervisor where she remained until her passing.
Lynne is survived by her husband Jason Bennett, sons Alexander Beaulieu and Carter Beaulieu, stepsons Cole Bennett and Collin Bennett, her mother Diane (Fontaine) Baker and Brother Leroy Baker and wife Amanda, niece Massie and nephew Jacob.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visiting hour from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by a celebration of Lynne's life on Thursday, February 3rd at The Assembly of God. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the UMFK Foundation- Forestry Fund including Lynne's name at UMFK, 23 University Drive, Fort Kent, Me 04743.
