St. David---Lynne A. Dews, 57, passed away on September 24, 2023, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Waterbury, CT on September 19, 1966, daughter of the late Robert Dews and Sandra Goodwin.  Lynne received her bachelor's degree in music at the University of Orono and then attended University of New England and got her Masters of Science and Education.  She taught music at the Madawaska School District, retiring in 2006 due to illness.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the St. David Church.  Interment will take place immediately following the Mass at the Parish Cemetery.  In keeping with Lynne's wishes, there will be no visiting hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lynne's memory may be made to an animal hospital of one's choice.
