Fort Kent -- Marcella (Pelletier) Thibodeau, a lifelong Northern Maine resident, passed away at the age of 91 on December 8, 2019 surrounded by her family. Marcella was born on January 27, 1928 to Fred and Melvina Pelletier of St. Francis, Maine. She and Valmond Thibodeau were wed on July 3, 1946. Marcella will be missed for her love of family and friends. She is survived by a sister Vivian Lebel, seven children, ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren: Allen Thibodeau and his wife Joan and their children Adam and Sarah, Diane Savarese and her son Jason, Leland Thibodeau and his significant other Jeannie, Lynn Daigle and her husband Eugene, Robin Damboise, Kim Damboise and her children Lyra, Tasha and Teala and significant other Paul, and Sheri Albert and her husband Michael and their children Robin, Ian, Gavin and Kearston. Marcella was predeceased by her parents Fred and Melvina, her husband Valmond and siblings Jeano, Reno, Fern and Lillian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. In keeping with Marcella's wishes there will be no calling hours. Spring interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions in Marcella's memory may be made to the Edgar J.
