Obituary
Madawaska---Marcelle Lavertu, 86, passed away on February 20,
2019
at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Baker Brook, NB, a daughter of the late Antonio and Annie (Cyr) Albert. She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Herby Lavertu of Madawaska; two children, Marlene Pono and her husband Jos of Bath, and Steven Lavertu and his wife Dian of Edmundston, NB; five grandchildren; two
great grandchildren
; one sister, Yvonne Albert of Baker Brook, NB; many nieces and nephews. Marcelle was predeceased by six siblings, Yvon Albert, Denis Albert, Jean Albert, Roger Albert,
Rudolphe
Albert, and Jeanne Reinhart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
10am
on Friday, March 1,
2019
at the St. Thomas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church on Friday from
9am
until
9:45am.
Spring interment will be held in St. David Cemetery.
