Madawaska---Marcelle Levesque, 86, passed away at a Madawaska health care facility on August 6, 2015. She was born in Riviere-Ouelle, Quebec on February 23, 1929, daughter of the late Joseph and Emilina (Pauette ) Levesque. She had many job titles, serving the local Doctors in the northern community as a maid servant for their families was the beginning of her medical career. She then the challenge of becoming a Certified Nurses Aid, and finishing her career as a seamstress for both sides of the border. She loved to garden and travel to be with her family and loved ones. Marcelle is survived by two daughters, Linda of Edwards, CO, Sandra and her husband Steven of Frenchville; two grandchildren Frederick and his wife Abby from Gillette, WY; Heidi and her friend Aaron Lavoie of Thorton, CO; one great granddaughter, Nora Jo of Gillette, WY; one brother, Francois from Las Vegas, NV; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Reno Guerrette; her son, David Guerrette; seven sisters and six brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, Rocky Mountain Park in Estes, CO on September 13, 2015. A Graveside Service at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Madawaska will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
