Madawaska---Margaret Gagnon Levesque, 89, passed away on May 10, 2023, at Residences Jodin in Edmundston. She was born in Edmundston on March 10, 1934, daughter of the late Claude and Ida (Huard) Gagnon. Margaret really enjoyed skiing and playing tennis. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Madawaska. She was also a member of the "Party Girls" and enjoyed the many outings with them. She is survived by one daughter, Gail Pratt of Ville Degelis, Quebec; six siblings, Anita Gagnon and Albert Gagnon and his companion Gilberte Collin of Edmundston, NB Geraldine Shirley of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Theo Gagnon of St. John, NB, Aline Gagnon and her companion Lucille Blanchard of St. Joseph, NB; Raymonde Laroche and her husband Michel of St. Jacques, NB; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Pratt.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, May 15, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will take place immediately following the Mass at the Parish cemetery.
