St. Francis—Margie (Jandreau) Taggett, 80, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2021, at her home. She was born on March 11, 1941, daughter of the late Victor and Isabelle (Gagnon) Jandreau. She was a devoted catholic and was a member of the St. Charles choir in St. Francis.  Margie worked in the meat department for a number of years for Shop n' Save. She spent many hours in the kitchen cooking for her family and devoted much of her time gardening and canning. She had such a strong work ethic that left an impression on everyone who met her. From the time Margie retied at the age of 62, she cared for her husband for many years. Margie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Clyde Taggett; three children, Patty Martin and her husband Robert of St. Francis, Frankie Taggett of St. Francis, Doug Taggett and his wife Tessy of Fort Kent; Four sisters, Winniford, Marybell, Nadine, Angie; Three brothers, Hansley, Nelson, Calvin; eight grandchildren, Hillary, Sarah, Buddy, Christopher, Betsy, Matthew, Mason, Tyler; Six greatgrandchildren, Logan, Madison, Angel, Laney, Libby, Vance. Margie is predeceased by her parents Victor and Isabelle (Gagnon) Jandreau; One son, Randy Taggett who passed in 1997; one infant great-granddaughter, Faith; Four sisters, Bella, Irene, Verna, Vina; Two brothers, Marvin, Alphandore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at St. Charles Church in St. Francis.
