Obituary

Van Buren--- Marguerite L. Bresett, 90, died peacefully Monday, May 9, 2016, at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Springfield, MA, a daughter of the late Francis and Lillian (Roote) Perusse.
After meeting the love of her life, Richard Bresett, her and her husband relocated to Van Buren to raise their family. She worked many years with Highview Manor in Madawaska as a CNA. She also looked forward to working with local farmers during potato harvest season. She enjoyed tending to her garden or perusing a newspaper or history book during the rainy days. She truly enjoyed walking the neighborhoods and enjoying the beautiful nature around her.
She is survived by: four children, Gayle McKissack of Pensylvania, Ricky Bresett of California, Marianne Bresett of Madawaska, and Judy Hardt of Van Buren; three brothers; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Marguerite is predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Richard Bresett in 2010; two children, Michael and Doug Bresett; and three siblings.
