Madawaska---Marguerite M. (Theriault) Cyr, 77, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022 at a Bangor health care facility, with her son Steven by her side. She was born on July 14, 1944, daughter of the late Francis and Irene (Lavoie) Theriault. Marguerite loved to knit and crochet all the time. She made hundreds of blankets, booties, and mittens for her family members. Marguerite is survived by her husband, Theo Cyr; her three children, Alan Cyr (Deborah) of Connecticut, Steven Cyr of Madawaska, and Holly Cyr of Colorado; one brother in-law, Percy Hebert of Connecticut; one sister in-law, Claudette Theriault of Connecticut; two grandchildren, Monique Cyr Skallberg of Texas, and Christina Cyr of Hawaii; one great-grandchild, Jay Alan Skallberg of Texas; two siblings, Marcel Theriault (Lise) of Edmundston, and Madeline Theriault of Green River, NB; along with many nieces, nephews, brother and sister in-laws. Marguerite is predeceased by her parents; three siblings, Constance Hebert, Francoise Doyle, and Ralph Theriault. A visitation will take place on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Lajoie Funeral Home, from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Northern Light Dialysis, 23 North St. Northern Light Health Center Unit #5, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
