Obituary
Madawaska--- Marie T. Dionne, 87, died peacefully Sunday, June 19, 2016 at a Frenchville healthcare facility, with her daughter at her side. She was born September 10, 1928 in St. David, a daughter of the late Ligorie and Marie (Dechaine) Gervais.
Marie worked many years in Connecticut with Pratt & Whitney and Phillip Dodge. After her retirement, Marie relocated with her husband, Fern, to Madawaska. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Grand Isle. She was an avid gardener, planting many a flower and vegetable in her day. She also enjoyed crochet and sewing many crafts.
She is survived by: her husband of almost 64 years, Fernand C. Dionne of Madawaska; one daughter, Carol Kiel and her husband Claude of Madawaska, formerly of Florida; and 6 siblings.
She was predeceased by 8 siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 24, 2016, at the St. David Catholic Church, US Rte. 1, St. David. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 114-10th Avenue, MadawaskaServices
