Madawaska---With a heavy heart we announce the death of an exceptional woman, Marie-Jeanne Gaudet.   She went to Heaven to be with the Lord, God on Friday March 7, 2025.  She passed from a cerebral hemmorage after enduring a week of suffering from its effects at Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent, Maine.  Through all lifes' trials, tribulations and suffering, she never gave up hope or her faith.  She was born Marie-Jeanne Olivette Loraine Cadorette on September 22, 1942 to Andre Cadorette and Loraine (Delude) in Nashua, New Hampshire.  She was schooled at Presentation of Mary in Hudson, New Hampshire.  After graduation in 1962, she went to work as payroll clerk at Merrivale Casket Company.  Later marrying Richard Gaudet in 1964.  They made their homes in Amherst, Nashua and Merrimack, New Hampshire before making a big move to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1986. Together they had four children: Yvonne; Pamela (Steve Sullivan); Liane (Terry Fletcher); and Richard (Susan).  After divorcing she went on to Florida and made her homes in Merritt Island and then Fruitland Park where she lived for 25 years.  Her failing health urged one last, difficult move to Grand Isle, Maine where she lived with her daughter, Pamela's family for the last four months of her life.  She leaves behind not only her four children, but eight grandchildren: Michael, Cassandra, Stephen, Sarah, Savanna, Samantha, Lily and Teresa.  Additionally, she was a great grandmother to Stephen Jr, Ava, and Ezra.  She also leaves behind her only sister, Lorraine, nieces and nephews, many cousins and good friends.  Marie-Jeanne, better known as Mary Jane, will be sorely missed.  Her final resting place will be at St Francis Xavier Cemetery in Nashua, New Hampshire.
