Grand Isle--- Marie "Lorraine" Michaud, 71, peacefully passed away February 5, 2023, with her children and devoted companion at her side. She was born in St. Agatha September 14, 1951, a daughter of the late Renaud and Murielle (Pelletier) Michaud.

She is survived by her two children, Tammy Gillert and her husband Mike of Massachusetts and Joe Thibodeau and his wife Joy of New Hampshire; her companion, Guy Michaud; three siblings, Theresa Corriveau and her husband Richard, John Paul Michaud, James Michaud and his wife Lillian; four grandchildren, Hannah, Grace, Aiden, and Wesley; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by four siblings, Rita Campbell, Richard, Bernie, and Philip Michaud

At Lorraine's request, funeral services were private and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main Street, Fort Kent.
