Eagle Lake--- Marilyn C. Dufour, 88, peacefully passed away August 25, 2026, following a short illness. She was born February 16, 1938, in Cross Lake, a daughter of the late Ned and Leda (Marquis) Ouellette.

She is survived by four children, Michael Dufour of New Britain, CT, Kim Dufour of Eagle Lake, Joe Dufour of Redondo Beach, CA, and Kathy Mecklenburg and her husband Allen of Galina, OH; three siblings, Kate Raymond of Cross Lake, Maureen Cloutier of Plantsville, CT, and Phyllis Turbeville and her husband Don of Berlin, CT; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; her goddaughter, Missy Beaulieu; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by two daughters-in-law, Kim M. Dufour and Lisa Delleripa, and four siblings, Bob Ouellette, Patsy Martin, Kenneth Ouellette, and Philip Ouellette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at St. Louis Church, Fort Kent. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, before the Mass from 8:30-9:30 AM at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
