Grand Isle---Mark S. Cyr, 53, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2019 at his residence in Grand Isle.  He was born in Van Buren on November 7, 1965, son of the late Richard and Shirley (Beaulieu) Cyr.  Mark loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He truly enjoyed spending time with his family.  Mark is survived by his three siblings, Roberta Thibodeau and her husband Normand of St. Basile, Richard "Dick" Cyr and his wife Diane of Edmundston, Tina Parent and her husband Allen of Madawaska; three nieces, Kim (Marcel), Julie, Jenna (Alex); three nephews, Daniel (Roberta), Remi (Marie Andree), Kody; five great nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle.  Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church on Tuesday from 9am until 9:45am.  Spring interment will be held in the Parish cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home, Madawaska.
