IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mark
Daigle
January 28, 1964 – April 1, 2021
Fort Kent / Florida--- Our beloved son, brother & uncle, Mark Daigle, died unexpectedly at his home in Orlando, Florida on April 1, 2021. He was 57 years old. Mark is survived by his parents, Oreen and Monique Daigle of Fort Kent, Maine, his sisters Susan Daigle of Bangor, Maine, and Gail Daigle of Salt Lake City, Utah, his nephews Ryan, Seth and Justin, and his nieces Chanda and Hannah. Mark was also close to many other family relatives including his aunt and cousins in Connecticut, and his cousins in Maine.
Mark was born and raised in Fort Kent. At age 11 the family went on a trip to Florida and it was during that trip that he fell in love with aviation. The pilot on the flight invited Mark to sit in the cockpit and he was hooked. As a child, he would spend hours making model airplanes and proudly display them in his room. He attended college at the University of Southern Maine and did an internship with People's Express in the mid 1980s. Thereafter, Mark worked for a few different airlines in various functions for nearly 20 years. In 2005, Mark began his career with JetBlue Airways when the airline was just a few years old. As a JetBlue Crewmember, Mark worked in operations, training, InFlight services, and on special projects. He was a valued member of the JetBlue team and was well-liked and respected by his fellow crewmembers. He will be remembered and cherished for his wry sense of humor, his intellect, his creative and artistic talents, and his adventurous spirit.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated only with immediate family at a time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Make A Wish Foundation at 477 Congress St. Suite M1, Portland ME 04101.
