Madawaska---Mark J. Gendreau, 52, passed away peacefully in Paula's arms on January 6, 2017 at a Bangor health care facility. He was born in Madawaska on June 12, 1964, son of the late Conrad and Gladys Gendreau. Mark is survived by his beloved wife of seventeen years, Paula (Bouchard) Gendreau of Madawaska; two children, Kara and Kurt Gendreau of Madawaska; one sister, Rita Chasse and her husband Gerald of Grand Isle; one brother, Donald Gendreau and his wife Karen of Van Buren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister and her husband, Betty and Armand Sirois; one brother and his wife, Roger and Louiselle Gendreau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences from 9am until 9:45am at the church before the Service. Spring interment will be held in the St. Gerard Cemetery.
