Grand Isle & New Britain, CT---Mark Lavoie, 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home in New Britain,  on April 11, 2022 with his long time companion, Melissa Daly by his side.  Mark was a very hard worker and had a heart of gold, often lending a helping hand to anyone in need.  He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.  He is survived by his parents, Herman and Lucienne (Roy) Lavoie; his soulmate of twenty years, Melissa Daly; his sisters, Melissa and Jamie Lavoie; his paternal grandmother, Eva Lavoie; nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the Daly family.  A Funeral Service will be held 1pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Lajoie Funeral Home.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 12pm until time of service at 1pm.  Spring interment will be held at St. Gerard Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.  For online condolences, please visit www.lajoiefuneralhome.com
