Van Buren & Kissimmee, FL--- Mark Rossignol, 51, died unexpectedly on March 16, 2016 at his home. A son of Yvette Beaulieu Rossignol and the late Norman Rossignol, he was born July 27, 1964 in Van Buren, Maine. He was a graduate of VBDSS's class of 1982.
Mark enlisted with the US Air Force for several years shortly after graduating high school. He enjoyed busying himself with landscaping and home construction projects. He especially enjoyed watching sports and, though he lived in Florida, always enjoyed rooting for the New York Yankees and in later years the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hurley of Kissimmee, FL; his mother Yvette Rossignol of Van Buren; a step-daughter, Amanda Hurley of Kissimmee FL; one brother, Rick Rossignol and his wife Eleanor Rossignol of Mansfield, CT; a half-sister, Nicole Easler of Holden; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Friends may greet the family at 10:30 until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
