St. Francois, N.B., Canada --- Marlene R. Cyr, 86, passed away on January 22, 2020 at an Edmundston,N.B. Healthcare facility. She was born in St. Francis, Maine on May 31, 1933, daughter of the late, Archie and Irene (Nadeau) Guerrette. She is survived by her beloved husband Raymond Cyr of Baker Lake, N.B., 15 children, Larry Ouellette (Marie), Wilma Jean Michaud (Gerald), Patricia Jandreau (Allan), Harold Ouellette (Terry Ann), Marilyn Sirois (Richard), Paul Ouellette (Lynn), Kim Ouellette (Jeffrey), Mona Nadeau, Bobby Cyr (Kim), Linda Cyr (Mike), Ronald Cyr, Michel Cyr, Pauline Cyr (Lucien), David Cyr (Patsy), Real Cyr (Lizette); two grandchildren, Kelsie Lee and Darcy Ouellette; three great-grandsons, Trevor, Connor, and Shay; three surviving siblings, Maynard Guerrette, Herman Guerrette, and Joella Lambert; along with many that she held dear. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wilmer Ouellette; and her brother Marcial Guerrette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in St. Francis. In keeping with Marlene's wishes there will be no calling hours. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home in Fort Kent.
