Frenchville---Maurice Ouellette, 86, passed away at his residence on August 5, 2014. He was born in St. Agatha on January 2, 1928 son of the late Joseph and Delina (Raymond) Ouellette. One of his favorite past times was working on potato farms in the St. Agatha/Frenchville area. He also worked as a truck driver for Dragon products in Frenchville until his retirement. Maurice enjoyed ice fishing on Long Lake and playing cards with family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty six years, Rolande (Marquis) Ouellette of Frenchville; one daughter, Diane Morneault and her husband Mike of Fort Kent; one son, Michael Ouellette and his wife Sharon of Sicklerville, NJ; his grandson, Michael Morneault, Jr. and his wife Nicole of Saco; four grand-daughters, Michelle Morneault of Fort Kent; Samantha Ouellette, Shelby Ouellette, and Sarah Ouellette of Sicklerville, NJ; one great grandson, Avery Michael Morneault of Saco. He was predeceased by his daughter, Phyllis Ouellette in 2011; four sisters and three brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8:30am until 9:45am on Friday.
