June 9, 1943 – February 23, 2020
Washburn – Mavis Arlene Rose, 76, passed away on February 23, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family at The House of Comfort. Mom was born on June 9, 1943 the daughter of Glenna A. (Conley) Levesque and the late Sterling C. Levesque Sr.
Mom attended the Washburn District H.S. then later moved to Deland, Florida where she lived for over 20 yrs. and retired from Sherwood Medical.
Mom is survived by her sons Maurice D. White and Daniel L. White of Wade; daughters Kimberly (White) Grant and her husband Terry of P.I., Angel (Conley) Kearly and her husband Mark of Easton; she has ten beloved grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; mother Glenna A. White; sister Brenda McCoy and her husband Michael; mom is also survived by several aunts and uncles as well as many nieces and nephews, and special friends; Tanya and Lenny Rose, Jim Scott, Ollie Mandrell, Mike and Jackie Martin.
Mom was predeceased by her father Sterling C. Levesque Sr., stepfather Milford C. White and her only brother Sterling "Butch" Levesque Jr.
Mom's service will be held Saturday February 29,2020, visiting hours will be from 12:00pm-1:00pm the service will be held at 1:00pm in the Washburn Pentecostal Church, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers contributions in Mom's memory may be made to The Aroostook House of Comfort, aroostookhouseofcomfort.org/donate/
