Madawaska---Michael "Mikie" Picard, 65, passed away on December 30, 2014 at his residence in Madawaska. He was born in Lille on July 11, 1949, son of the late Ludger and Patricia (Cyr) Picard. He is survived by his wife, Anne-Marie Picard of Caribou; one daughter, Mecca Picard of Middleboro, MA; one son, Mario Picard and his wife Lana of Caribou; four grandchildren, Alex, Jaden, Cale, Maizi; six sisters, Joan, Maxine, Gladys, Paulette, Patsy, Charlene; four brothers, George, Leo "Pum", Tim, and Eddie; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10am on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until 9:45am before the service on Saturday. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Caribou Veteran's Cemetery.
