IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael A.
Robertson
February 3, 2001 – August 14, 2023
Michael Anthony Robertson passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2023, in Richmond, Virginia where he was starting to build a new life for himself in hopes of overcoming his battle with addiction. He found himself a job in the service industry as an oil tech and service writer at "Take 5" where he felt appreciated and would often be caught slipping coupons for discounts to the little old ladies. Those who knew Michael before his struggle and while he was working on his recovery would tell you he had the biggest heart and lived to make others laugh. A smile that lit up his face and a heart of gold always willing to help others. His passions were riding dirt-bike and snowmobiling, always a thrill-seeker going fast, taking jumps, and popping wheelies even as a toddler. Unfortunately, the thrill-seeking mixed with emotional and physical pain turned to self-medicating as a teenager. Michael loved his family deeply and never wanted to hurt them. He longed to do better and be better for them, particularly for his little brother and younger sister. When asked recently what his two biggest worries were his response was "relapsing and being far from my mom." Now free from the chains of addiction and forever in his mother's heart the worry is over. Michael leaves behind two siblings, Ryder K. Robertson and Danalie A. Deprey. His Mother Danielle A Forino and her fiancé Steven P. Pelletier, his father Kyle K. Robertson, his grandmothers Sherry Robertson her husband Alan Hitchcock and Beverly Fournier, several aunts, uncles and cousins, his longtime friend/girlfriend Alexandria Daigle and his very best friends Walter and Rolland the dogs. He is predeceased by both of his grandfathers, C. Michael Robertson and Mark J Forino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Relatives and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, August 25; there will be no visiting hours on Saturday before the funeral.
