Van Buren--- Michael "Crazy Bear" Rossignol, 51, died peacefully April 28, 2016, at a Van Buren healthcare facility, following an illness. He was born June 30, 1964 in Van Buren, a son of Beatrice (Dubay) Rossignol and the late Aurele Rossignol.

For many years he worked various jobs throughout the Valley, until a debilitating illness. Mike was most often seen on his four-wheeler in town or walking downtown with his mother and dog, Princess. He was a kind-hearted man whom loved to have conversations with anyone he meet on the street. An avid KISS fan, he loved to collect memorabilia and share his music with his family and friends. Mike had a huge interest in scary and horror movies and stories, much to the delight of his visiting extended family. He will be lovingly remembered as the "Tickle Monster" by his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by: his mother of Van Buren; his younger twin sisters, Diane Gagnon and her husband Mark of Van Buren and Dinah Rossignol and her long-time companion Joel Michaud of Madawaska; five nieces and nephews, Adam, Zach, Brooke, Breanna, and Nick; three great nieces, Victoria, Melissa, and Allyson; and many loving aunts and uncles

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family 10AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
